Why do we have to let cards be used for anything other than fun? It will just be abused and easily so.

Hehe, this is a great idea, but maybe it should Tetra Master with cards that are designed from characters, monsters, Items, and places from FFXIV, while having none of the cards from FFIX or FFX in it like FFXI.... well Playonline had.

Either way it would be welcomed to have one of these delightful card games in v2.0!

I LOVE THIS IDEA. However it will never happen. The first time someone loses a valuable card they spent months trying to collect they will whine and make life for Square-Enix a living hell. But if the community wouldn't be so baby-ish then this would be an amazing idea. I love triple triad.

They should combat this by making the reward for winning NOT be taking someone else's cards from them. Maybe if you win you should just win an expansion pack or something.

There's no reason they can't have a "Friendly Game" option to play just for the sake of playing. But they shouldn't eliminate the winning of cards from people. That's the risk of the game. If you want to win cards, you have to be willing to lose cards.

I'm sure everyone who has played Triple Triad in FF8 doesn't remember ONLY the good times. They remember the times where they've lost a GF card, or a Character card, all because they were winning, then got slammed by a Same! Plus! Combo! on the final move.

It's a part of the experience.
