Whenever I join a random party to help out and we're waiting for others, I mention how this time would be so much better if we had a card game to play. This is just to get the idea in their heads and build up support for stuff like this.

Any player interaction outside of battle field is welcome in my book. Anything that you can do together with your friends while recruiting in the city or just standing by waiting for LS ppl to gather for event is great. Even if its not a minigame. Simple things like inviting a person to dance with you (when if accepted you could actualy dance together with the other person) can make the standing-by time so much more enjoyable! In other words you have to keep players busy in every situation, even when they are simply standing and waiting for others to come or for cool down timer till instance re-entry. I mean come on! You force your customer to wait for 15 minutes to re-enter an instance without giving him an option to do anything else in between! (crafting is out of the question cause of the skill cool down timers) Thats just wrong.
Theres nothing worse than a bored customer!!!!

Was it Triple Triad that we're talking about? Well that answers that.

Seriously though, I'd rather see them implement something that isn't a blatant rip off of another Final Fantasy title. The games in XIII-2 were pretty bad, but it can't be impossible to make an interesting card game nowadays. Get the guy who made the concept for Triple Triad working on this.
