Maybe his girlfriend spends a lot of time on the game and it's important to her, and OP wanted to show her some support and well wishes from the community? You have no idea what OP has done/ is doing about this, and to imply otherwise and call it "sympathy fishing" is unnecessary and rather disgusting tbh.

It compelled me to write a response and I gave my honest opinion. If he needs support, here is not where he should be getting it. If his girlfriend needs support, the faceless denizens of the internet are not who she should be turning to. But hey, pragmatism is easily confused with "being a dick" these days.
