I just dinged 30 and about to change most of my gear. So what should I look for when I by an upgrade?

As DD should I go for str, atk, acc or crit?

As tank HP,vit or def?

Also is there a certain piece of gear I "must have"? something easy to get and very good, like from a quest or so.
