No raids in 4.0 means I have nothing to do. Raiding is the thing I looked forward to the most after story.

Hardcore raids needs a reward, you will never put i260/250 gear in a12s because "they already clear the hardest contained, they dont need better gear"
I have never raided in FFXIV (unless it was waaaay outdated (Coil)) and I have never needed the *Best uber gear* to do the non-raid content.
Why even bother going for raid gear when it's not needed at all for non raiders?
Yep.
People can argue til their teeth fall out that raiding is for the challenge, but as long as gear is attached to it it should at least be gear that allows you to access more content, whether now or in the future. A good example (that's often brought up a lot) is SCoB -> Savage SCoB. You used all the gear you got in SCoB to beat Savage and you were rewarded with titles to show off your epeen. This system wasn't without it's flaws, but ones that could easily be ironed out.
Honestly, I kinda agree with OP - if we removed raiding and got content with varying difficulty that split the gear I'd significantly prefer that to the current system. But if we must keep raiding in the game then it'd be nice if it were actually worthwhile.
There has to be more different ways of getting best gear, if it takes more time so be it but more lanes is always better.
...But why?! Really. Why do you even need the best gear if you're not raiding and don't enjoy it. Everything else can be face rolled without the best gear.
"I don't like <insert content name here> therefore it needs to be stricken from the game. And all rewards must be given to me on my schedule, in ways that I prefer and if I cannot have it due to not liking <insert content name here>, my work schedule or the fact that I made a choice to have a family then no one should be able to have it either for I am the only player of this game that matters!"
OP is clearly trolling
