How a FFXV crossover event *might* work. {FFXV Spoilers. You have been warned}

Using the story context from the Lightning Returns event, i can only assume that the way we'll meet Noctis is through his ten years inside the crystal, similar to how we met Lightning. Maybe his coming to Eorzea is part of his reflection/preparation for the final fight. Or at least that seems the most likely way it'll happen (to me ofc). There's never really another "Moment" when Noctis isn't in the FFXV universe except for that 10 year gap which is literally skipped over. Despite that though i am curious to know what everyone else thinks could or should be done.

(Only used Noctis as the base of the character we'll meet due to YoshiP's comments but i'm still open to it being another character)


Also, dev team if you're reading this, It's safe to say at this point that the vast majority of players want Kingsglaive gear from this event... make it happen :3

and please make it gender neutral too ^^

In fairness, YoshiP DID say they would wait until people had played it for a while before doing an event. I'm kinda hoping that during the JP FanFest LFTP, we'll get info about the event or at least someone will ask him a question about it.

I don't know. Internet is very sensible with the spoilers this last years. Telling someone that X thing appear in a game/film/serie is considered spoiler and automatic burned andeven banned. Poeple in FFXIV probably will take this as bad as any other spoiler and start insult (because is the only tihng they can do really) Yoshida because "ruin" FFXV.

But aside that, I think is a good idea.

We can't have a XV crossover as per the rules of the crossover, noone can come over to the server if they died during their story. since FFXV ends with him disintegrating, I doubt we'll see Noctis directly

I wonder if they'll ever port over FFXV's enemy models like they did for the last 3 3D FF games in future patches, I'd really like to fight that midgarsom-something (forget the name but it was also in VII) they could really use a new snake model that isn't the FFXII basilisk :3

That's probably the most sensible way to do it, something had to have happened between that 10 year gap, they did something similar like that in Persona Q that explained why the P3 and P4 cast, that's if they do end up bringing Noctis and friends over, can't see why they wouldn't though.
