I know at least some people here use the app considering that's how a few people kept contact a the fan fest before last. I personally would like to see them release a sticker set and possibly a theme specifically for ffxiv. I'm thinking a set for ARR, a set for HW, and just one for each expansion could be nice. Maybe a WT themed set too?
