    I'd honestly be more inclined for the Ragnarok Online type of family system. Two player characters "adopt" another player character that is made smaller to appear child-like.

    That would be kind of hilarious. This entire thread is hilarious but the only real application of this is Junsei's suggestion, like a sort of subsystem to the mentor system. Bahahaha

    What? I'm really not sure what to make of this idea. It's obvious you've gone into a ton of detail but I can't help help but think "WTF" - I really aren't sure how this would fit into FFXIV. Given your character is the Warrior of Light and you're meant to be out there saving the world... is putting a bun in the oven so to speak really saving Eorzea?

    EDIT: This is the same feeling I have when I get rickrolled. Well played OP, well played.
