Why do people want to foist SAM on us as a Tank when there is not enough players playing Tanks already. Make the current Tank jobs more appealing before saturating the populace with unnecessary job classes.

Yeah, no, you said jobs multiple times there buddy. And jobs/classes are not apples and oranges, they're actually almost identically the same in this game, and considering new jobs have no base classes what is even the point of talking specifically about classes? Unless you're using the term classes in a completely different manner in which you should probably construct your statements to be clearer. The second half of you comment makes zero sense.

Anyone worth their salt would not waste a DPS slot for WAR, nor would they not give WAR the tank slot.
