So I just had a thought when talking about what we wanted for 4.0 with some peops and I realised that I should share what I had in mind.

For people who have been playing since the beginning, you are aware that the game started with NM primals, whose only purpose is the story. Then at 50 we had the HM primals, whose purpose was weapons and relics. Then at the 2.1, they added extreme mods. Starting 2.2, NM primals disappeared, or we thought so. HM primals are the difficulty of NM primals and has the same purpose: story. And EX primals replaced HM primals, with the same purpose too: weapons. But not only, they also added accessories in EX primals. Accessories who disappeared in Heavensward.

All of this is a bit non-sens to me, and I thought that there could be a little rework over this, since they have 3 times Heavensward's budget.
- Normal mode would be back, with its always purpose: story.
- Hard mode would be a middle difficulty, with mechanics from which you can recover, like the fall in Sophia. It would loot accessories, and share a mount between all the expansion's primals.
- (REAL) Extreme mode, with hard mechanics from which you can't recover (Titan/Sephirot's fall) or not without being pro-gamer. Would loot weapons, and specific primal mount.

I think that would be a good way to keep people entertained a bit longer between each patch.
