Player Searches and Party Seeking?

Maybe I missed something about this during the last few bits of update news.

Has there been any information put out on how SE plans to address the player search features (or rather lack there of)?

Players seem to only have one viable option right now, which is sit in Ul'tah and listen to the shout spam. This doesn't aid much in the enjoyment factor... Players could still be out doing leves with a "seek" on and come back if there is an invite.

Just curious, hearing some great things about how classes and abilities are changing, but nothing on how they plan on bringing players together.

A revamped Party search is coming next patch, which seems to be heading for an early Dec release.

Sure but they also want to "balance" the game with unimportant features like 'fixing' the repair system. Fix the damn search function, just...damn, add the same commands as in FFxi( that all we need, nothing pretty or polished). "/Sea all <level> <job> or <name>", what's so freaken hard about THAT???

I disagree we need something pretty and polished, not some shitty FF11 knock off.

I'm hoping for a lot more functionality than what FF11 offers, its 2011 for crying out loud.

I agree but the way the party search function is right now, I doubt ppl really use it because I think it's not what we need and open to variable searches we're used to.

if se can't even get the basic working like what 11 have, how can you expect them to offer more? At least se need something to improve on, right now is nada...
