Snow Drift woes... (Great item, horrible overlapping)

Devs, 1st off thank you very much for the addition of snow for our homes.

That being said. One issue for us who excel and OCD on decoration... the snow REALLY is HORRIBLE looking when you try to overlap it!

Would love it if that could be smoothed out somehow.. If only we couldve lined up the parts differently.

I bought like 9 of these things earlier thinking I could cover the whole yard with snow. Results were... less than satisfactory. I've never seen clipping so horrid.

Someone had a thread or post earlier suggesting a kind of outdoor flooring that could be grass, dirt, sand, snow, etc to fit the season or personal taste, and I'm all for that.

Yard skins please!...

The same way we have cottage/house/mansion skins we could also have yard skins, very well designed to fit each of the seasons and we would get rid of those horribly and poorly designed "Snow Drifts", seriously, is that the best the dev team can do!?...

Producer Yoshida once said the game has unlimited possibilities (potential?), well, it's time to demonstrate that and improve the housing experience for all!...

I think it would have been more beneficial if they made the furnishing an exact (or more exact) square shape. I wanted to put a patch in the corner of my yard and it clipped terribly through the fence.

While I'm all for a yard skin option, I'm glad the current Snow Drift is not square shaped because the current shape with "melted" random corners looks natural when placed without others attached to it.

While yes, I agree a single patch by itself does look better, I hesitate to call it natural. At best it looks like you lived somewhere that doesnt snow, and had a truckload of it dumped on your lawn. Or you just dumped a bunch of powdered laundry detergent everywhere. Why does my lawn smell like fresh linen?

Shoddy work on the devs part but i guess they never intended this, they should have expected this is one of first ideas people would have.

Yard skins should have fixed that while providing a much better overall feeling with snow and snow on the house. The only problem I can see is that they have to figure out how to put snow on garden items like trees and such. I guess.....................LIMITATIONS™ ®
