    As Canadane says, there's no way to find out beyond what she describes without poking around the LOG files for clues.

    What I do after finding out which character a folder is for (using the 'log in, log out, DIR the folders to look at the timestamps' method) is then make use of the Windows 7+ 'Link' feature to create symbolic name to the folder using the command-line command MKLINK.
