A couple requests in the interests of being able to provide speedier and more personalized assistance to novices who need answers.
Aside from the obvious non-alphabetizing problem that plagues all of our chat lists, which I can deal with, the novice network window is particularly troublesome because it presents pages of 25 users but only actually has room to display 18 at once. So not only do we need to page, but we also have to scroll. This slows down response time significantly when we're looking for a character in the list to tailor an answer to the person's job levels or location.
If either the window size were increased or the paging interval reduced, so that the window could display the whole page of users at once, list navigation could be done entirely by paging and we could spend less time scanning through the list and more time giving customized advice.
Preempting the "use the search" argument, I would happily bypass the window altogether by just using /sea forename Bob, however, the search window does not list people who are in a duty. So for this to work, we would need the search function modified so that it doesn't hide people who are in duties.
Alternatively/supplementally, it would be really helpful if "View Search Info" were added to the chat log's context menu so that when a sprout asks for help we can click the name in the chat log and access the sprout's job list directly.
Please consider these requests; they are for the purpose of being able to help sprouts more efficiently and effectively.
