Lol, so one is afraid of RNG because using their tokens to buy an upgrade which could drop in the subsequent weeks and go to someone else...as an upgrade? Ok.

The other says RNG can drop gear that does not pertain to your groups current composition...but could be an upgrade for a side job...riiiiiight...

If your clearing that's all there is to it, if it's an upgrade, just get it if it helps progression...I don't understand this randomophobia. I've seen a dark weapon which is being used, a smn book which is being used, WHM cane that's being used, and unused blm and 2 pld weapon drops...though they are fun upgrade for those who got them...people need more "grats" in their life lol

If you really have trouble understanding why people are not fond of the idea of their effort randomly being rewarded with something they care for or something they don't, please go to your workplace and ask your boss to roll a dice on whether you get paid your salary at the end of the month or something else you really couldn't care less about of equal value instead - for example, real estate stocks in a foreign country or a lifelong subscription to a magazine or something like that, depends on what is of equal value to your salary. Of course, without re-selling option.

If, after a year, you still don't get why people don't like randomness in rewards, well...nothing to be said. To each their own. But I'm sure you aren't crazy enough to accept that sort of thing IRL. Nobody ever is - Because deep inside, people know better. They just don't like to show it for some reason.
