Why is there ANY RNG involved in this? It should be simple: clear the dungeon, get your choice of one token and done. Instead, we get 4 drops for 8 people. Just a giant F U from SE.

16 A9 runs since yesterday, and my best "roll" was a 34. It's crap like this that makes people rage quit.

Because the walking talking subbing tools think RNG is still a valid "gameplay" trope for player retention.

To be fair, the other loot system they have in place for some of the trials makes more sense, where within 10 runs you either have a stab at getting your weapon drop as RNG, or turn in the 10 tokens you automatically obtained one per run. Wish they applied it everywhere else. People got other stuff to do with their time than to lose rolls to tunnel vision programming.

Average of 11 minutes per run, and roughly 20 minutes queue time as DPS, x 19 = 9 1/2 hours of play time on just A9N. I can't think of anything else I'd rather do with my game time.

I'm not the only one who thinks this is frustrating and retarded, either.

I asked the GD forum a question a while back, and a sizable portion of players actually LIKE relying on RNG for drops. They said it's more exciting. I'll never understand it.

This is just for normal mode though.
In Savage, everyone gets a token AND loot on top of that.

Solution: Do more savage. \o/

You know you can run it in a party, this limits it to lesser runs to obtain your loot.

I agree Chloe. When I was after an alex bolt I had to run 9 16 times. Was about to give up. Bad loot system is BAD here.

Lol...DF is good for two things, roulette's and weeping city.

If you are still using the DF for specific loot in the normal versions of Alex...you are going to run into this problem. Mitigating control...PF...
