Macro for Gathering

I tried to research this, but found nothing. Thought I would ask on a message board before I gave up.

I am curious if there is a macro command to harvest nodes. For example, I click on a tree as a Botanist and want to harvest the third slot, is there a macro command I can input to harvest the third slot without clicking it?

Not for clicking the slots as far as I'm aware.
But for ability use, there is. As such, Fishing can be used under a single button macro if one wishes, since it's all ability driven, and not using the node UI like the others.

There are no slash commands that can be used to automate gathering. However, if you harvest something, the client will remember your slot selection for the short term, so you can run up to the next node and harvest the same slot with just the confirm button (by default, numpad_0 on keyboard).
