    Getting Really Frustration With The PC Patch Files Help Me Please!

    Can somebody help me on a better VPN besides Cyberghost so I can get the darn game to install on my PC???

    I'm assuming you've already tried DNS swapping and phone hotspotting for the trouble parts in the patches, other threads in technical support have the full details if you want to check it out. But I did see someone mention another VPN besides Cyberghost to help get it running, ExpressVPN might be another one for you to try.

    Well after I gotten the first error I used a VPN called Hide me (slow as heck while downloading the game). Then I got the second error. So what I did was I disconnected the VPN and just download the game like normal. I gotten like 3 or 4 more errors until finally I got the game updated. I think the problem is my download speed being so fast cause of my ISP and luckily I had discord on.

    Also ExpressVPN is paid only.

    God, I wish I'd actually checked the forums for this kind of thing before I spent money on this crap. At this point I'm not sure I even want to bother playing it now that I have paid for it, if every patch is going to be a three-day ordeal of fiddling with my DNS settings.

    I have a fix for this that has been tested on PS4 and PC. Set your MTU to 1360. You will download all of your patches with no problem. Afterwards, just change back to your normal MTU of 1500.

    Only thing that worked for me was to change my DNS Settings to the Level 3 DNS servers

    209.244.0.3
    209.244.0.4

    Once I did this I was finally able to download the patches.
