    Glamouring!

Guys, isn't it boring that if you glamour your crafter gear now.
All the other crafter will be the same glamour.
Hope that they could make it that you can multiple glamour for the gear!
Its like if you are a raider and you are a tank and all your 3 tank is using the same glamour cause all the gear is the same. its so boring..

Personally I believe this is something that needs to change and I'm going to ask SE about it the next chance I get. While it can be boring to see multiple classes or jobs all look the same when they have shared gear, what I consider to be even worse is when you decide to glamour the appearance something that is class or job specific. My current Summoner glamour uses the appearance of three job specific equipment and two that are not. Since my Black Mage shares gear it now looks like a total mishmash that isn't aesthetically pleasing. It's either live with that or don't glamour Summoner the way I want.

My crafters are all fresh 50s and I haven't picked up on the artisan set yet, so they have a unique look in their AF and I wish I could keep it that way. My WHM and SCH have two sets of the same gear and melds so I could give them each their own unique look. My BTN and MIN also have two sets of the same gear and melds. This is my issue, and I wish we could have glamour sets similar to gear sets that we just select or macro on a change, and done. Doing things this way with non-unique gear sets seriously eats up your armory space. We should be able to level multiple classes as SE encourages, without such headaches. I get that we can purchase retainers, but the headache also comes from managing all that inventory.

With my crafters, and where I think your issue comes into play is the artisan gear is unique, so I can only own one set; forcing the glam I choose onto each crafter. However, I think the glamour set option, if they can do it would solve both problems with the glam system. But I think the multiple glam sets on a single piece of equipment might be what will give the devs trouble.

i can't use miner and botanist because of the glamour issue. i play fisher as one of my main classes and rarely use the other gatherers...

so i have glamoured a bikini on my fisher gear. with the boots and gloves from the lvl 50 fisher artifact gear. that looks really cute, little lalafell with bikini and rubberboots going out and play fishing o.o/

but when i switch to miner or botanist... nope, just nope c.c

Not only for crafters, Healers, Casters, Tanks, Ranged share the same gear aswell, this means that if I want to glamour my tanks, I need to pick a glamour that fit all 3, which is awfull, in my opinion.

I really hope that SE considers glamour sets for the next expansion. I like giving each job a unique look, and I shouldn't be forced into having multiple pieces of the same crafted gear, or reusing older tome gear for one job, and current gear for another, resulting in gimping one job, just so I can have unique looks.

Case in point: I have the perfect glamour for MCH when I reach 60. However, I will have to use my old lore gear on MCH because the MCH glamour does not fit BRD (and I love my BRD glamour, considering it has stayed relatively constant since I got bard to 60 a year ago). So, I have to gimp one job (basically) to be able to have separate glamours for my ranged psychical DPS. Same for when I finally get BLM to 60. I don't want it looking like my SMN. And I don't want all my tanks looking the same either. I've had a very solid glamour for my DRK that uses 2 pieces of the Esoteric Artifact Gear, but I can't use those on WAR or PLD, and my DRK glamour is catered to DRK, not the other two tanks. I have completely different ideas for all 3.

Since SE doesn't release a lot of job specific artifact gear, and tends to make endgame gear shared by similar jobs, there really should be another solution for those of us who love glamour, and love being creative with our glamours.

    No?
But I may be the minority on this one.

Honestly, I think SE should have built the glamour system into Equipment Sets rather than into each individual piece of gear. That way, jobs and classes that share gear wouldn't necessarily have to share looks. Of course, it does mean that if you DO want them to share looks, you'll have to glamour multiple times for the same look - but I think that's more than a fair trade-off.
