Time to spam skills and spells. An occasional combo to spice things up.There aren't any water-based attack spells, but conjurers do control water-based spells. The break down of elements are as follows:
CNJ: Water/Wind/Earth
THM: Fire/Ice/Lightning
Also, there are no paralyze/poison/silence/absorb/slow and there aren't any plans to implement them before the launch of version 2.0. However, as we move forward, if it becomes absolutely necessary to utilize them, we will look into it.

How do you know magic won't cost more to cost considering we only have like 15 abilities, and only a few are actual nukes? I mean just friggin wait till the patch is released before we blow up like idiots on the forums. I'm tired of this OMG THE GAME IS GONNA SUCK based on assumptions. You think they don't have an idea for a future mage class/job to debuff? No I don't know and neither do you. We wait and see what happens when it's implemented.

if you take a step back for 2 seconds and look at things. you will see that the dev's have been restricted by what was already in place, there is only 2 DoM classes to work with, in final fantasy blackmage and whitemage are the original and trademark mages, so had to come first. yoshi has said more than once we need more mages. to give the magic that has been taken away now too con or thm would cancel the need for a new debuff mage. everything that is being done now is building up for 2.0. which if you read between the lines this is when you will see you debuff mage.
