Housing Price Confusion

I was looking at the page on the Lodestone in regards to Housing prices and the information is confusing.

On the page it states that the initial prices for housing costs for purchasing a plot are lower than what the current prices for plots are. For instance, under where it says "Initial Pricing", a small plot is 3 million for what is considered a "5th class" plot. But beneath it, it states that on most servers, that price is higher than 3 million.

Can we have a GM or someone else who is knowledgeable on housing clarify this please?

When a plot is available it starts at max price (I don't remember how much higher it is compared to the base value). Over time if nobody purchases it, the price will decrease down to its base value.

^ This. Houses range from 1st to 5th class plots, depending on location. The better the spot, the higher the class and the higher the value. A small house that is rated as a first class plot will have it's initial price start at 3,750,000 gil. If no one buys this land after 6 hours, the house will lose value and slowly become less expensive. The plot's cost will only ever devalue up to (30 days worth of devalue; approx.) 50%- so that same plot will never become less than 1,860,000 gil.

Make sure you're looking at more up to date info. The tables right under "Pricing Post Patch 3.3 (All Worlds)" is what you want to look at. There used to be different prices depending on your world but as of 3.3 it was set to the same pricing across all servers.
