    Important Stats: Intelligence for Damage (does Magical Damage), Mind for basic Healing, TP for cost

    Learned mages who use Arithmeticks to analyze natural phenomena and pinpoint magickal spells.

    Arithmeticians can effect their own spells and abilities by altering their algorithms with glyphs.

    - Dividere: Ability. Turns the next Addere, Quartus, or Reflectere the user uses into an AoE that affects all party members with in 15 yalms of the user. Duration of 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 6 second recast.
    - Multiplicare: Ability. Makes the user's next Velocitas, Regressus, or Subrtractus affect all enemies with in 5 yalms of the target. Duration of 15 seconds. Instant cast time. 1 second recast, 21 seconds after 3 uses.
    - Commutation: Ability. Turns the next Undo, Addere, Quartus, or Hemi the user uses into a shield that will absorb damage equal to 50% of the HP that would have been healed (rounded up to the nearest whole number). Increases Undo and Addere's TP costs by 1.5x. Duration of 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 10 second recast.
    - Duplus: Ability. Makes the user's next Undo, Minor, and/or Velocitas hit twice (the second hit being cost free), with second hit only doing 50% the amount. Does not stack with other Algorithmick Glyphs. Duration of 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 60 seconds
    - Exponen: Ability. Makes the user's next Undo, Addere, Minor, or Velocitas a Critical Hit but doubles the TP cost. Instant cast time. 90 second recast.

    Healing Spells and Abilities
    - Undo: Spell. Heals a selected target. Potency of 400. 2.5 second cast time. 2.5 second recast
    - Addere: Spell. Heals a selected target. Potency of 300. Instant cast time. 3 second recast.
    - Erase: Spell. Removes one detrimental effect from a selected target. 1 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Remanere: Spell. Resurrects a selected target to a weakened state. Can be used during battle. Instant cast time. 10 second recast.
    - Quartus: Ability. Heals 25% of a selected target's HP. Instant cast time. 60 second recast.
    - Hemi: Ability. Heals 50% of a selected target's HP. Instant cast time. 150 second recast.
    - Centum: Ability. Heals 100% of a selected target's HP. Instant cast time. 300 second recast.

    Offensive Spells and Abilities
    - Minor: Spell. Damages a selected target. Potency of 150. 2.5 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Velocitas: Spell. Damages a selected target. Potency of 80. Instant cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Regressus: Spell. Deals unaspected damage to a selected target over time for 24 seconds. Potency of 40. Instant cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Subtractus: Spell. Deals unaspected damage to a selected target. Additionally, deals unaspected damage over time for 18 seconds. Potency of 20, 35 for DoT. Instant cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Galois Field: Spell. Places a 5-yalm AoE in a designated area for 30 seconds with a potency of 20 and an additional potency of 20 that is distributed (stops at a potency of 5). 3 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.
    - Reflectere: Spell. Places a barrier of a selected party member that damage any enemy that damages them for 15 seconds. Potency of 100. 2.5 second cast time. 30 second recast.
    - Sectio Aurea: Ability. Places an unaspected DoT on a selected target for 30 seconds that damages the target for 1% every 3 seconds. Additionally, this heals all party members with in 10 yalms of the target based off that damage (rounded up to the nearest whole number). Instant cast time. 90 second recast.

    Other Abilities
    - Dull Prattle: Ability. Decrease the amount of Enmity the user has with all enemies with in 20 yalms by 75%. Instant cast time. 30 second recast.
    - Studium: Study a selected partymember (other then the user) and buff the user depending on the selected partymember's role. Instant cast time. 60 second recast.
    Tank: Increase the amount the user's healing spells do by 5% for 10 seconds.
    Melee: Increase the user's Attack Speed by 5% for 10 seconds.
    Ranged: Increase the user's Critical Hit rate by 5% for 10 seconds.
    Caster: Increase the user's Damage Dealt by 5% for 10 seconds.
    Healer: Place a TP-refresh on the user for 15 seconds.

    - Inflate: Ability. Increases a selected partymember's (other then the user's) Maximum HP by 5% for 60 seconds. Instant cast time. 120 second recast.
    - Trajectorius: Ability. Increase the Accuracy of all partymembers with in 20 yalms of the user by 10% for 15 seconds Instant cast time. 60 second recast.
    - Disseminatus: Ability. Places a barrier on a selected partymember that will absorb the next damaging Skill, Spell, or Ability and disperses the damage it would have done through out 15 seconds, evenly (rounded up to the nearest whole number). Can be bypassed by strong attacks. Overwrites Diffuse. Instant cast time. 120 second recast.
    - Diffuse: Ability. Places a barrier on a selected partymember for 15 seconds that takes 15% of any damage they receive from an enemy's single-targeting Skills, Spells, and/or Abilities (excluding effects or Damage over Time) and evenly spreads it through out the party (rounded up to the nearest whole number). Can be bypassed by strong attacks. Overwrites Disseminatus. Instant cast time. 90 second recast.
    - Vehere: Ability. Places a barrier on all partymembers with in 20 yalms of the user that will absorb the next damaging AoE that hits at least half of the party. All partymembers that were damage will only receive the lowest amount of damage out of the effected (this includes those hit with a Critical Hit). Ignores other damaging absorbing or spreading shields but not stat changes. Can be bypassed by strong attacks. Duration of 6 seconds until used. Once this effect is used, ALL user-placed Vehere effects will be removed from the party. Instant cast time. 420 second recast.
    - Variabilis: Ability. Switches the user's TP cost to MP cost for 15 seconds (TP cost x (Current Level / 10) = MP Cost). Additionally, restores the users TP whenever they spend MP by half the amount spent (rounded up to the nearest whole number). Instant cast time. 120 second recast.

    24. Enhanced Mind III: Increase Mind by 6.
    28. Enhanced Trajectorius: Trajectorius now increases Accuracy by 15% and also increases Critical Hit Rate by 5%.
    32. Profiteer: Whenever the user lands a critical hit on a damaging or healing Spell, Skill, Ability, effect, or auto-attack, they recover 100TP.
    36. Enhanced Collectivus: Collectivus can now spread Erase but its TP cost is doubled and has a 3 second cast time.
    40. Maim and Mend II: Increases base action damage and HP restoration by 30%.
    44. Bubble: Inflate now increases the target's Maximum HP by 10%. Additionally, when the effect ends and the target is at 90% HP or higher, the user will recover 600TP.
    48. Enhanced Studium: Increase the time of buffs from Tanks, Melee, Ranged, and Casters to 20 seconds. Increase the time of the TP-refresh from Healers to 21 seconds.

    Interesting concept, though, among other things... why is Addere be a separate, weaker spell that has to be paired with another ability just to use its AoE effects? Especially since it works out to have less potency than Medica after a Dividere.

    Addere's initial job is to be used after Undo to act like a pseudo-Cure/Benefic II. Its potency under Dividere is suppose to copy Succor's. sans the shields.
    I wanted Arithmetician to focus more on individual heals vs AoE.
    I can see how it can be detrimental though, so I'll remove the potency lowering on Dividere.

    I believe that technically lore wise Scholar is already kind of like this. The basis for their magic is Arcane Geometry that Arcanists use.

    Pretty much this. Also, there's a very particular reason why Lustrate from Scholar went from being a percent-based heal (25% health) to a potency-based heal, and that's not ever having to leave Cleric Stance. Sure you can say that there are math reasons for it and whatnot, but ultimately what every player is going to do with it is the same thing every endgame player did with scholar in 2.x: go cleric stance, just use percent-based heals while spending far too much of their time doing dps instead of serving their intended role. That might not sound bad, but that reason of healers doing dps is why the first savage wing of Alexander had such steep dps checks, which meant other jobs that weren't so dps-heavy were considered pointless.

    Beyond that and maybe the whole "TP as a healing resource" thing, I think this has really interesting elements in it, and definitely look forward to more ideas here.

    Remanere seems like it is too useful for a 10-second recast, since it is basically a Swiftcast + Raise, which has a 60-second recast.

    Sectio Aurea would be too powerful on bosses if it deals 1% of their HP every 3 seconds.

    Reflectere seems decently powerful, but it also seems that there is not much other AoE damage, so this might be acceptable. I am just not entirely sure.

    I would joke with my friends in-game about the kind of anarchy Arithmatician could cause if they were ever introduced. For example:

    "Ok guys, it's looking like we're gonna do it! World first Bahamut clear! HE'S AT 1% OH GOD IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!"

    *BRUTAL INSTANTANEOUS WIPE!*

    "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! That was NOT Enrage at all! WHAT. HAPPENED."

    *Arithmatician speaks up*

    "Sorry! I forgot to carry that one on that last cast of mine and, well, you know how it is, right?"
