Unable to complete version check issune on the PS4

Not sure if they're still having issues, but PSN was having problems earlier. Lodestone says they're resolved now, though.
If PSN is down, you won't be able to open the PS3/PS4 client. You don't need it for gameplay, but you do need it to check the client, and download updates.

I'm getting the same thing post "PSN issues fixed" update. I was looking around online, apparently the fix is:

1. Disconnect your PS4 from the internet
2. Turn it off
3. Turn it on
4. Reconnect it to the internet
5. Launch ff14

and it should update properly. Give that a try, the post I read was that it worked for some players, and not for others.

I tried a restart and an actual off and on, and neither worked for me. The other alternative is deleting and reinstalling FF14 on your PS4 and then it should update correctly. The previous post I saw there was no SE support ever involved, so this was all that was offered. I hope the easier solution works for you guys. I'm going to try that again later, cause I'm not really interested in a reinstall.
