Don't know what that News response was saying this DC things been resolved but it sure hasn't happened for me. Still getting the can not connect to server error code (random number) stuff.

* 1:20pm 12/12/16 "The lobby server connection has encountered an error" 50006: Well this certainly doesn't seem resolved, if anything its gotten worse. At least before I was able to get to a load screen before getting disconnected.

Its not the maintenance the servers located in NA having problems. So idk whats the point of this post.

The point of the post is sweetie , that they have scheduled emergency maintenance.
Giving working servers 2 hours to get ready for it.
Not hard to get , really.

We are aware of currently ongoing technical difficulties with the upstream internet service provider for the North American data centers, causing players on North American data center Worlds to be unable to log in or become disconnected from the servers.

Well, level 3 outage map once again shines in a bright red light in NA, so...I'd say if that was the issue last time, it would be the issue again now.

That outage map is not accurate at all. As down detector doesn't even ping or probe networks at all. It's "reports" are just data grabs of complaints from sources like twitter.

Especially back in Oct when a lot of the US suffered from DNS servers going down. DNS servers Level3 didn't even own, yet its network was 100%.

Except, that's not the case.

Scheduled maint is 10pm PST - they don't need 2hrs 'to get ready for it', and we are more than 2hrs away from the scheduled maint time (we are 10 hrs away).

Let's not take the up-time of the game for granted. Perfection is a feat that cannot be accomplished. If any of you understood how programming, mysql, and servers ran. You'd have to have the fingers and the mind of a Divine entity to make such a perfect system.


A slip up once a month or so is not a big deal in my book.

Sweetie they dont have to take servers off 2 hrs before maintenance (in the lodestone post u copy and pasted it says 30min which is standard for small/most maintenance). Besides that if they take servers off for a maintenance it wouldnt be only NA and you wouldnt be able to start the launcher to come into the menu after restart. Last fact they already confirmed its a NA issue so. You may should have just said that u were wrong because the 2nd post of urs doesnt even make sense.

idk "registered 2012" How can you not know this by then.
