Tokyo Fanfest Stream Nico Nico Question

So I'm wanting to order through Nico Nico this time because Cleeng was absolutely awful and you could only watch stuff live.
Has anyone ordered it through them yet? I'm going through the process using the best translation Google can give but I'm wanting to make sure I am doing it right. I chose the "credit card" option midway down the list of payment methods but after going through the whole process it tells me "this card is unusable". Obviously the card has money on it, any idea what could be going on? Which payment option did you use?
This is such a pain in the butt but I refuse to send money to Cleeng again.

I purchases 3000 nico tokens via the visa option and then used those to buy my ticket. It wouldn't let me pick my Visa card to buy the stream outright. I can try screenshot my method if that helps?

It's a bit annoying that only my main page is in english though, everything related to the "english live stream" is in Japanese... Great english live stream guys! :P I only managed to purchase from the site by clicking on every link I could until it brought me to the right things, lmao.

Yes, please! My card is Mastercard and I put it in twice, guessing at the right buttons. I'm pretty sure I chose the right ones because it went through the steps then said the card can't be used. I tried to click on the other options, WebMoney etc but all the ones I tried said they can't be used outside of Japan. Would it kill them to take Paypal, lol?

Okay, so this is how I purchased my stream, I tried hiding them behind spoiler walls to avoid spam but they don't work apparently ._.

I'll update this space in just a moment;



When you click the link from the FFXIV start-up post you start here, you need to buy Nico points to obtain the stream as they don't let you buy the stream outright.



You then click this button and you'll end up with this page;



You only need to pick the 3k option if you only intend to buy the stream, FFXIV costs exactly 3k nico-nico points.



This is the option I chose to buy points with my visa card, this is also the option for mastercard. You'll need to correct me if mastercard has a different purchasing method from Visa.



So step five, box one wants the 16 digit code on the front of your card. Box two wants the day and year your card will expire and box 3 wants you to confirm the randomly generated number inside the box to confirm you're not a bot. You then click the yellow button to proceed.



You then hit the yellow box again when it comes up with a confirmation box saying you're about to purchase 3k nico-nico points for ¥3,000.
This should then bring you to a security link, make sure your firewall, noscript or ghostery isn't blocking this as it will cause the transaction to fail.

Hm, that's weird... I'll see if I can find any info on anyone else who has used MC, visa seems to work ok....

If all else fails you could probably get someone to gift you the stream and then give them the money back via paypal, etc. :S

Is your card a mastercard secure code? I'm not entirely sure if that's a different kind of MC or not. >_<

Visa didn't work either? That's weird... Are you able to screenshot the error message?

And you've bought stuff online with the card before right? Maybe your provider blocks transactions from a foreign website because you're buying yen etc? Not sure ofc. :S
