What is your Endgame?

Raids and glamour.

My end game is to periodically quit and go play other MMO's for a few months, then come back and play all the new content that has been released since I have been gone. I have never once run out of things to do.

I typically cycle between 5 or 6 MMO's playing each one for two months at a time, though FF14 is one of my top two.

For me it's PVP, glamour, housing, crafting, and of course breeding the perfect chocobo. I also enjoy leveling alts for RP and to experience the lore and pick up on details I missed on my first play-through. (Wish devs can make friending our alts possible again!)

One of the things I really appreciate, is how devs are making new content, but still trying to make older content relevant (i.e. Wondrous Tails) for new players. Though this is not particularly end-game, I believe adding a daily raid roulette for Coils/Alex, would be really fun!

Besides that I'll do whatever I feel like. Chocobo racing, gathering, crafting, chatting with FC mates, etc.

That's because glamour is the only thing that lasts or holds any form of value.

Yep, Glamour is the true End Game for the better or worse :P

Now, what can the devs do? Nothing really - It takes multiple times as long to create content as it is to consume it. Only way out is grinding, aka repetition of the content ad nauseam. So the best they can try to do is to make repetition of the content something fun and enjoyable, but that's a very tall order, especially in the framework of the game. PotD tries to fit that bill, but, erm...I dunno. I don't think it's very successful for it and would die out quickly if it wasn't such a loot pinata.

And how about making Coil and other Raids grow (Or a "savage" edition) with the ILevel items so it becomes a changelling again? Also giving new loot for the time. Something i noticed it's that, if you didnt enter the game by the time a raid (Coil, for example) it becomes obsolette when new content is released. I dont know in other servers, but in mine if i wanted (and i want to) do coild Synched, i need to find a static interested in it. (a luxury that i dont have right now due to my free time aviable).

I never thought about that... I did not saw many people doing the chocobo raising at the time.

My personal end game was kill a12s before any nerfs and echo and now thats done im attempting to get high up in this season of feast, currently at gold. if i can reach platinum/diamond then thats my end game complete for this patch. Oh and keeping fresh glamours hahaha

I've always seen raiding as the end game, but what would be "my" end game? Not really sure... I'm hella casual now, so for me, the whole damn thing is endgame.

Pvp and Glamour but since its so easy to get platin/diamond its not really much of what I would call "endgame". Im up for more grinds in general atleast that lasts longer than any raid etc.
