(raiding)Restarting game now or w8ing for next expansion.

Long story short i started in patch 3.1 Terrible terrible time to start the game a3s was out and for some reason everybody was dropping out of raiding.Tried a bunch of statics all of them with immature or not determined players ,disbanding one after the other. in the end i ragequited from the game cause i couldn't find a team.But right now i really want that mmo experience and i want to try to go back into raiding.
So my question is this: Should i wait for the new expansion and buy it asap so i have the same experience with the other players about new raids or start the game now and try to go in a static so i can already be somewhat familiar with the scene.
To be brief how easy "or difficult" can be to find a raid team now , and is it worth to try to get into raiding before the new expansion comes out?

It's best to try finding a raid group just before the start of a new raid tier. This is when I see the most recruitment messages usually.

You can sometimes find a team in the middle of a tier as spots do open up occasionally, but people are usually reluctant to take someone with no experience, as they don't want to have a to teach someone everything that they already spent weeks learning. It feels like a set back for the rest of the team, so they usually try to find someone with a skill level that comparable to the rest of the team.

My advice would be to start playing now or maybe after 3.5 comes out and get geared up to 270 in preparation for the expansion and then try to find group for raid a few weeks before the expansion comes out.

I found a team, i had no experience in any extreme or raid content, after cleaning a9s with them they took me in training and now we are on A12s ( they where working on a11s when i joined) so i would say you can try !
