So is anyone else excited about the cross server party finder

I don't think Ive seen a thread on this, but I could be wrong I mostly look at the first page threads. But jw if you guys are excited about it and think that its been a well needed feature. Do you think if your on a smaller server that it will make it easier to do some of the content you've been wanting to do. Does everyone think that SE will set this up well and make it worth while for everyone. I am looking forward to it simply because I cant get over not doing all the old content level sync, I dont want to unsync it unless Im farming something, but even then I like to clear it sync first. So all those old primals from arr, and all the tiers of coil sync is something Im hoping this will open the doors for me to do. What about everyone else what will you use the feature for and are u excited about it.

Ragnarok PF is filled with everything during peak hours so I don't think we will benefit from it more like other server will benefit from us.
I am looking forward to it though.

I remember a friend of mine set PF for coil level sync and it got full really fast. Just people wanting to have fun.

This. Selfishly, I'll say I'm, at most,...interested in the new feature. By no means excited and even maybe slightly worried what it will lead to.

Since none of the EU servers lack players to do stuff, if their PF is empty it just means they have no one who is ready to bother with actually building a party.
So I worry it will just be tons of players jumping into Ragnarok parties instead of making their own..?

I also have had nothing but the worst experiences with literally everyone from Shiva I ever stumbled upon, and by keeping "German" off in DF I managed to mostly avoid them,
but with shared PF now, they might hop into international parties more since the system no longer sorts them out based on language :/
Not quite sure yet how I feel about that either .-.

Anyway. We'll see how it plays out, no point in worrying about it yet^^

I play tank, and wife heals, so wait time for us is non existent, but I am happy with the cross server because hopefully it will lower wait times for DPS people.

It is well needed feature. Currently my server as example you cannot get into any sort of content at all without having a group, this may help.

My experience of this feature in WOW was that it lead to a very toxic environment due to lack of any rep. repercussions for jerks.

Precisely.

When groups are 'home' server only then any bad prep. jerks gain quickly get their name known and they become outcasts if they're really bad .. ninja looting is one of the main such crimes in WOW .. especially in end-game content. WOW's community is looked down upon as hugely toxic, and in part that's a reasonable view, but it wasn't always like that, the rot set in when cross-realm grouping was introduced.

Hopefully this will let me actually fill up PF's for the last few Coils. Unsynced PF got me all the way through T10, but then it went south.

I think it'll be a net positive. I'd like to see something akin to their cross realm feature so lower pop servers can feel more full.
