What kind of gamer are you: Casual. Social. Dad-gamer (I like Civ6 and Age of Wonders and Stellaris...)

Main class?: I'm not good at anything, so I play everything badly.

Dislikes: Mean people. Weak tea.

Goals for the game: FUN! that's it.

What kind of friendship are you looking for? Well, I figure this is where you go if you want to dabble in quasi romantic "friendship". We're not 12 years old, we should know that "true love" is off the table. Sure, I like to flirt and I like the idea of in-game/online romance, but the "send me your nudes" or "tinder" encounters make it impossible to meet and befriend a good person and just be friends FIRST. Most importantly, it has to be a friendship that acknowledges the very real possibility that it will NEVER lead to anything more than just friendship. However, I'm not interested in more dudebros.... I am only interested in the warmth and kindness I have enjoyed with my irl girlfriends. I want to flirt and have fun with a friend who is open to more but not looking for more. If she has irl commitments even better. No pressure, no obligations, no expectations... Just fun. I don't want to see irl pics. I don't want to know your politics. I don't want to share our horror stories (unless, after a friendship is well-established, those things come up).

Things you would like to do with the new friend(s)? Nothing that requires real effort. Let's just fish, play triple-triad, and we can see if I can tank anything harder than a story dungeon. Let's go explore Eorzea and delve into the lore. Let's learn about the bestiary and the architecture. Let's talk about old Final Fantasy games and how FFXIV has used that content.

Etc: I'm cis male heterosexual and in a committed relationship with no possibility of children. I live in a red state (U.S.) and I generally dislike the irl population I live in. I'm not young or beautiful... but experience has provided me with humor, insight, patience, and a fondness for the simple things.
