Event Titles, Can we have them back?

I was curious as to why we don't receive titles anymore for holiday events. I really miss that. I enjoy collecting the various titles in game. These titles along with ( say the 1.0 titles ) were the only exclusive titles we could obtain based solely on when you played the game.

Especially now that all the holiday items are thrown into the cash shop... I'm curious if we'll ever start receiving exclusive holiday titles again. It is one of the simple ways ( albeit slightly trivial ) to reward the people that actually stay subbed and play the game during events.

I think the last holiday title we got was almost 2 years ago now ( Cupid? Or Half-boiled Hero/Heroine... I think the latter. )

Seconded! They dropped titles because it wasn't fair on those who missed the "timed" content (allegedly). Now that they're happily selling timed content in the Cash Shop there's no reason why those who actually do the hard (!?) work shouldn't get titles again.

I really don't see how they can suddenly decide its not fair when there are copious amounts of exclusive content ( as far as minions, titles & mounts ) that cannot be obtained by everyone.

It's something so silly and simple. I don't see the harm in keeping it.

I always see lots of the 1.0 titles and I get jealous, as I should! I didn't get to play in 1.0 so they earned it.

I would get people being upset about it if the titles offered some sort of stat increase or advantage but they don't.
