They do add an upgrade path for those not wanting, or unable, to do the savage raiding. They just do not do it when you want them to.

Well, that's their call, not yours. Somehow, I doubt that they will listen to you, given this thread.

Anyway, I agree with an above poster, logic and facts do nothing for you. That shows there's no point in continuing this, and so I'm out. Maybe I'll come back when you become rational.

i want a grindy path for gear upgrades too. they could just copypaste the relic quest, they just hat to adjust the grind for each gearpiece... diadem back then was also a step into the right direction, the RNG based stats on the i210 gear was a nice grind, but sadly the diadem itself was not so nice :x

and no, i don't raid. i don't really need the best gear, and of course i could buy the tome gear and upgrade it in the odd numbered patch...

but that's not the point of a grind based gear path. the point is: i want to grind. i want to have something more to do than just doing expert for 15-20 mins 5 times a week and one time the 24man raids... i don't like raiding, i like grinding, please give me something worthy to grind for v.v/

raidgear should stay 10 ilvl ahead, i agree. having i270 raidgear, i260 tomegear wich you can upgrade (for casuals in the odd numbered patch) and on top of that i260 grind-gear (also upgradeable later on to not fall behind the casual gear) would be a nice addition, wouldn't it?

I would also like to add another argument to the Raid VS Farming. Raiders usually gets unique mats that sells for high price, or with them they can craft rare items for themselves or again to sell them. So that's not nothing

Actually that happened only once with t13 to make the bahamut bust, so it's not something usual.

This would be remedied by adding a third harder difficulty that requires max ilevel gear and rewards you with other things, but that's a different discussion altogether.

For the rest of us mortals, we need to get the higher ilevel equipment to take on the higher tier raids.
^ Truth! The highest non-savage raid content is Sophia at i235, if i260 isn't enough for you to clear you're probably too casual to be tackling that in the first place. 260 gear is overkill for everything else in the game atm, so the need for 270 to be available to people not tackling savage is questionable.

    I agree with you Tint!
Only one small thing: if they were to do it the Diadem way again, it would be great!
But I would be a bit reluctant to ask for an entirely new set, since the i270 is already designed.
Really sorry, but I will ignore posts regarding raids -they do not add anything to the topic, and the people who post them should probably look for another, more relevant thread.
