ive been playing for a while, and this has always bugged me. google doesnt seem to bring up any useful information.
yes, im a weirdo that plays using the arrow keys (not numpad, actual arrow keys) and a 20 button mouse for my keybinds.
every time im moving, then press the shift key, i will completely stop moving, until i press a direction again.
im using a logitech g910, so its not ghosting, i can hold down literally every single button on my keyboard and they will all work.
its not a key binding issue, i dont have shift + arrow keys bound to anything, and i even tried binding them to movement to see if that would fix it, it doesnt, then i removed the binds and it still stops me.
if i try to move whole holding left/right click and press shift, it doesnt stop me. if i use wasd and press shift, it doesnt stop me. this only seems to happen with arrow keys, which is the way ive played any and every game for the last 20ish years.
using arrow keys doesnt put me at a disadvantage. 20 button mouse + shift/control covers any and all keybinds, so i dont feel like reteaching my 20 year muscle memory a new way to play.
if anyone knows a fix for this, it would be greatly appreciated.
