    Mog Station Error 406

    I'm trying to renew my sub through the Mog Station using my debit card that I have had for years (with more than enough money on it to sub) and I'm getting error 406. No other information from the Mog Station which is great. And Google couldn't help either. It came up with various topics (no enough funds, Mog Station maintenance, permaban caused by banks demanding refunds from SE) mostly from 2014. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it. I'm really not interested in finding multiple $1 charges to my account because SE can't build a working website for their players to resubscribe.

    Update: Solved (I am an idiot)

    Turns out when you buy FFXIV through Steam, you can only resubscribe using your Steam Wallet. You still go to the Mog Station, but there's a specific option about paying through Steam rather than just resubscribing. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

    PS. I saw many horror stories when I was trying to research the error/my issue in general. I may have just been lucky but when I contacted SE Customer Support (USA, ~4pm CST) I was only second in line and the guy that helped me was really courteous. Shoutout to "Agent Erick".
