    2.0..... Why

    Why is most updates about stuff is, "Hold off till Ver 2.0" Latest was

    Why are the dev doing stuff like this.. Ver 2.0 isnt for like a year. Taken parts of the game out and not replacing them till Ver 2.0

    I understand they want to fix a lot, but they askign us to start paying for the game soon. But at same time baiting us with update on stuff that isnt coming out for year

    They are designing with a entirely new game engine in mind, many things can't be done with the current server structure or are not worth the time programing even if they are.

    While water element spells might not be the best example, it could be due to there plans for water element in the future, or it could be base for cure spells.

    no its just only because they wanted to limit the number of skills at 15 for each class.. well and there was no space left for water.

    Its a terrible solution... i dont know WHERE the improvement should be?

    They said that they wanted to make it clear which of the two caster classes are in the role of a black and which one in the role of a white mage..
    but now the white mage has elemental spells, like the back mage as well? typical blm spells like poison, bio, debuffs and typical white mage skills like banish, dia they have removed completely !


    to what sense? because to make a new class with these abillities in 2.0.. in a YEAR... and leaving white and black mages behind which are broken classes now? seriously what we do have now is not a real blm nor a real whm... thats just stupid and broken!

    RIDICULOUS if you ask me... ridiculous...!

    i am asking really myself why they not just gave all elemental spells to thm.. and skills like banish etc. to the conjurer... but what we have now is ridiculous... like my young cousin designed those classes!


    Yoshida: "1.20. will let us see clearly which class will become a black mage.." ah really? its more unclear than before ! now two of the classes got elemental damage spells. no white mage in ff history ever had. i dont know what they have smoked. really

    Oh the good old days when the white knights were still believing that the miracle patch was coming in a few days. I guess even naoki isn't throwing that "just hold on a little longer" line between every paragraph anymore.

    Compared to most changes in this game, this one is actually going to effect the way people play in a huge way. While everything was pretty much in a positive light that made things more manageable or easier, this upcoming update is basically stripping everything you knew about your class and skills and turning them into something completely different.

    Considering what's changed in one year we've had.
    -Random xp gains based on your efforts in battle
    -Fatigue
    -Input every actions
    -Battle Regimens
    -18 party size I think
    -Physical/Class Levels
    ---

    We've now arrives at this point:
    -XP is gained at the end of every fight based on level
    -Fatigue eliminated
    -Auto-battle
    -BR eliminated
    -4-8 party size
    -Class levels

    Now we've arrived at the most major change it come ever since the games reform. I would say that having this change around the time they want to start charging is a horrible idea, many may just be turned off to playing a game that's taken a different turn in how their classes worked. With a change as heavy as this they should allow their playerbase to enjoy it freely and get a feel of it, while some may say, well there should be a one week free period before they start charging, I do ponder if that's enough time to actually let people adjust to see if they like it. With a change like this taking place they should consider keeping it free til jobs are released so people can actually get a feel of the whole change rather then half of a concept yet to be fully developed unless you're willing to pay and see how it turns out.

    be happy with your missing content and patches that should have been here at launch. get over it everyone else that wanted a good game has to wait for 2.0. so either you wait, or you jump on the fanboy bandwagon and apreciate any crap SE feeds you.

    If the game isn't good enough to be paid for now, then you shouldn't pay for it.

    There is no baiting. You are either content with what's in there today, or you aren't in which case you shouldn't pay just because things might change later.
