Void Ark: who are the statues supposed to be of?

I was wondering if it's mentioned anywhere who the statues in Void Ark are supposed to be?

Also, are the Mhachi mostly lalas? I would assume so since they found Belah'dia, which becam Uldah later on and is mostly Lala?

Tl;dr: we don't know, and it's never been mentioned. The statues themselves are a mystery.

While it's commonly assumed the Mhachi were mostly Lalafell since Belah'dia (and through them Sil'dih and Ul'dah) is descendant from Mhach, we have no indication this was the case and until we're told otherwise we can only assume Mhach was about as cosmopolitan as the rest of Eorzea.

Actually, the lorebook shows Cait Sith's creator, Cessair, was a female Midlander.
I think SE just re-used that statue from one of the Crystal Tower dungeons.
They could also be voidsent. :B

The statue is unique to the Shadows o Mhach series. It shows a male highlander holding a comet

Where do we hear of Highlanders, comets, and mages? Rhalgr!

Aside from the missing bronze staff, (Nullstone anyone?) it fits perfectly.

Every Mhachi zombie we've come across has been a Hyur, so that's probably a safe bet.

Yeah, nobody knows who the statues are supposed to represent for now.

Although I figure it could either be Rhalgr (not bearded though) due to it being a robed magi wielding what appears to be a comet. Afterall, prior to the War of Magi, there were 12 city states and each worshipped one of the 12.

That said, it could also be the statue of an influential Voidmage? Perhaps the leader or the one who 1st discovered how to use Voidsent to their advantage?

We also know that Ala Mhigo was founded by the highlander survivors of Mhach and Amdapor's founded by Hyurs so it's positive to say that the great nations of the time were comprised of multiple races.

There are at least three statues and one holding comet is most likely Rhagrl. I don't know if the others are different depictions of him or entirely different persons
