Ps3 regestered then what?

Hello my brother bought a copy of FFXIV a Realm Reborn on the ps3. He registered it with his psn account. However when he logs into the game on the ps3 it still says he is on trial time. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

I believe that, until he pays his first subscription payment, the game will say he's still in his trial period.

The game itself comes with 30 free days as a trial period. It doesn't include a monthly subscription payment.



It should be noted that (not sure if he was aware), that SE is dropping PS3 support for FFXIV when the next expansion is released, which is some time in Summer 2017. So he will need to either upgrade to the PS4 version, or switch to the PC version. If he enjoys the game enough to continue playing it (which, hopefully he will!).
