    constant 90002 on PC but not on laptop

    Hi

    I recently purchased a low-end gaming PC with the below specs and I have been experiencing very frequent 90002 'Connection with the server was lost' errors within 2-5 minutes from selecting a character.

    This happens on both US and EU data centers (Aether and Chaos) and is usually constant for between 30 minutes and 2 hours when it does until it stops. During these periods I get sent back to the FFXIV main menu but am still authenticated in the game and if I try selecting the same character again I cannot log back in until that one has been logged out.

    While this is going on, I notice no hits to internet browsing/downloads and if I try run an internet speed test I get results consistent with times when I am not affected by this issue. I do experience very similar problems with Elder Scrolls Online however, around these same times if I try that game.

    On the other hand, if I try play FFXIV during this period on a 3-year old laptop I get no problems whatsoever, using the same WIFI network (ISP: TalkTalk UK) and located at equal distance from the router.
