Design a mount contest

A crescent moon mount would be cool:



Not in the flamboyant anime style though, but a more elegant FFXIV one.

I also like two seater mounts, would like a lot more than the wedding chocobo/mogstation moogle/mentor pegasus.

A long and sinuous dragon mount would be nice too, I like leviathan's shape:



A mount where some guy runs you around on his shoulders would be pretty funny too.

There's also the idea of an aztec style stone mount:



I rather like the idea of being driven around in a carriage like former idea showed.

As the animations already exist for all races, why we have yet to get an aura/ wings to fly under our own power is abit odd. It could help incentive end game content, by adding a mount that can be tied to elemental/ thematic aura/ wings of corresponding content. When not in flying zones it would let you hover in air a few feet/ inches.





Secondly a team like set up for more than one passenger.

I think designing a mount contest would be really cool to see. As someone with no artistic ability, I would really enjoy just seeing what creative things people could come up with. I quite enjoyed the tank armor contest and seeing the amount of creativity all of the sets got, I can't even imagine what people would come up with for ground and/or flying mounts.

Since 1.x before Alpha when they said we will get 4 start towns and ishgard is connected to dragons, i hoped to play as Gria!



Then when we got "Au Ra" and it was said it will be a dragon like race, i hoped we finally get them, but without wings, its not the same!
Still, now again that discussion with the wings (i fully support) that is rising the flames of HOPE to build gria with stylegear...
