    [Question] Controller walk toggle

Is there anyway to remove walking from the left analogue stick on the controller?

To explain, recently my controller has been acting weird with FF, when I have the L-analogue stick pressed all the way up to the north I'm supposed to run, and only run. Instead, I keep going run-run-staggered walk-run-run-walk-walk-staggered walk-run.
Walk is only supposed to activate when I press gently on the analogue stick but it seems to be ignoring my uhm... brutish finger pressing. This isn't so much an issue in duty finder and open world content, but I do EXT content and this is a huge problem for me. Especially when I need to be moving as fast as I can do avoid aoe, and if you've done 60 EXT trials you know there's a lot of that...

I tried reconfiguring my controller via in-game options and I had a quick look through the controller hard-key settings as well, which is what I used before to remove 'lock-on target' from my controller (that is the worst game design decision I've ever seen so far, btw), for those who aren't familiar it causes you to lock onto a target and start walking / side stepping around the enemy. TKIS: You shuffle to your death.
I don't really want to revert back to keyboard, I personally prefer using my controller where I can in any game now. 12 years playing WoW with a keyboard vs 9 months with a controller = controller pwns keyboard, seriously... I wish more MMO gave us controller options, lol.

TKIS: Can you remove walking from the left analogue stick, it's screwing me over in EXT content.

If your controller has only recently been acting weird with FF, then it sounds like it may be an issue with your controller. While the option would be nice, your issue may be indicative of the analog stick degrading and may eventually stop working altogether.

You may find your issue resolved sooner if you repair or replace your gamepad (I know those feels, I've been using a dualshock 4 since they were launched shortly before the ps4 itself, and have made 2 repairs on mine to keep it rockin')

Yeah, I'm at the concern that I'm just going to have to shell out 20-30 for a new one but I was just hoping I could keep my, otherwise fully functioning, controller a little longer.
If there is no option in place then it's stupid that there's no option in place. Keyboard has it, why doesn't the controller? >_<

EDIT: I might just switch left and right around and use the left for my camera instead, lmao. Fuck the system!
