Is there anyway to remove walking from the left analogue stick on the controller?
To explain, recently my controller has been acting weird with FF, when I have the L-analogue stick pressed all the way up to the north I'm supposed to run, and only run. Instead, I keep going run-run-staggered walk-run-run-walk-walk-staggered walk-run.
Walk is only supposed to activate when I press gently on the analogue stick but it seems to be ignoring my uhm... brutish finger pressing. This isn't so much an issue in duty finder and open world content, but I do EXT content and this is a huge problem for me. Especially when I need to be moving as fast as I can do avoid aoe, and if you've done 60 EXT trials you know there's a lot of that...
I tried reconfiguring my controller via in-game options and I had a quick look through the controller hard-key settings as well, which is what I used before to remove 'lock-on target' from my controller (that is the worst game design decision I've ever seen so far, btw), for those who aren't familiar it causes you to lock onto a target and start walking / side stepping around the enemy. TKIS: You shuffle to your death.
I don't really want to revert back to keyboard, I personally prefer using my controller where I can in any game now. 12 years playing WoW with a keyboard vs 9 months with a controller = controller pwns keyboard, seriously... I wish more MMO gave us controller options, lol.
TKIS: Can you remove walking from the left analogue stick, it's screwing me over in EXT content.
