More Companion monsters than just Chocobo?

We should bring out our retainers, the new GC recruits and Moogles.

You read it correctly, I want a Moogle companion, Moogles have shown that they are able to take arms and fight (provided you give them some Kupo Nuts), Moogles are awsome and we NEED them.

I wouldn't argue with moogles, I mean we see them fight, they have their own skills and classes. Seems like a matter of adding reasonable potency to the skills and letting them go at it with just simple tooling or commands. "Follow me, keep distance (good for having them dps while you tank and not cleave them like chocobos on healing stance) and whatever else is suitable for them.

Id love to be able to use the retainers.
The pick their class and equip them systems are already in place... We just need to be able to bring them along on all our adventures.

Ninjas should be able to summon a shadow clone companion. Devs make it happen!

I think that would be cooler as a cooldown that for the next x seconds your clone copies your moves, would certainly be a neat ability for the xpac perhaps.
