Request: Ability to re-assign class levels after 1.20

No thanks. Go level Conjurer. And saying "I wanted to be a healer, but I don't care if i was a mediocre healer" isn't helping you prove your point man. If you wanted to be a true healer class you would want actual Cure spells, Pro2, Shell2, poisona, ect. If you have the attitude of being OK with being a mediocre healer, then I fail to see why you are so concerned of being a healer so bad.

I hope they don't do this. Your time wasn't wasted, you keep whatever skills will now be assigned to the class you played, and will for the most part still be able to use most of those said skills on other classes. There is no need to re-assign levels to another class.

As it is, we should feel lucky they are letting us keep our levels we have. It doesn't really benefit them or the community really. In allowing us to keep our levels while the whole purpose of a class we played gets adjusted, it just means that we will have a bunch of high-levels who will not understand what it takes to level a class. There won't be seasoned mentors in the community, only instantly changed maxed classes with no real clue as to what it now takes to get to that level. While they will relearn their level 50 with all the skill available to them, playing at lower levels is always harder because you have less to work with.

No, SE please don't let people re-assign their levels.

For the ten months prior to 1.18, THM was arguably the best healer in the game. Their role as a healer was diminished in 1.18, but THM is still a capable healer today. However, in 1.20, it has been revealed that THM will no longer have a native healing spell. Given that THM is also losing Siphon MP (while CNJ receives new MP regeneration abilities), it seems that THM will effectively be transformed into a nuke-only job.

Speaking for myself, I ranked up THM under the old mages-are-good-at-both-roles paradigm, with the intent of using THM as a healer. Now that THM is being transformed into a straight nuking job, I am disappointed to learn my healing class will not be able to heal any more.

I understand that the players voted for drastic changes in the survey. However, if such changes are going to be implemented, is it possible for the players to be able to reassign class levels to match up to the new vision of the game?

This isn't a simple issue of "ARC isn't good any more so I want to be MRD now"; there are always going to be shifts in the pecking order of DDs. This is more like removing ARC's DD abilities and replacing them with BRD songs (which is, notably, not what is planned for ARC/BRD). There's a huge difference between shifts in the effectiveness of a role and removing that role altogether.

This is just plain silly. Go level your conj dude. Doesnt take that long to get it to 50.

I am voting no for the OP. If you want a healing class have fun leveling conj as much as you had fun leveling Thaum. That's part of the game. Besides both classes will benifit from having both leveled anyway.

or you could just take two days to level the class you want to reassign to.... seriously it only takes 2 days to hit max lvl, 3 tops

If you're rank 50 thm with a Lv1 conj you're easily the worst healer in the world.

Also, it takes like 1 week to go 1-50 playing like 8 hours a day, 2 weeks 4 hours a day, 4 weeks 2 hours a day. If you're Conj is already above level 30, grats, you're like 16 hours away from Lv50.
