It's great that you enjoy the game so much but not everyone wishes to put in even 1 extra hour when they were determined to spend their time differently. Just think of others, don't think about your 50s, or what you did, because it's not about YOU. Think of someone else for a change. Be considerate. Try it.
Yeah, I never said to level all 50's. I mentioned DoM. That's 2 classes and I'm often empathetic, and in this situation, it's really about lack of common sense.

The player already knew very well that they were not leveling a proficient healer, but still... why would you not plan on leveling CON to max as well. That is the point of the armoury system. People should use it.

I didn't make 1 of those threads, but way to respond since I didn't bring skill up and neither did the OP in his OP. Just because the Armoury system rewards effort does not mean people are obligated to put in the work. You should be glad it does without thinking of it as necessary work. I'm sure the OP is well aware of the benefits of leveling up multiple classes, but can you imagine why he doesn't want to put 1 extra level into a class he's not interested in? Maybe he uses his time differently than you. How is that contrary to common sense? Maybe he spends time with his family, love interest, or maybe he hunts deer or is an alcoholic. You see what I'm doing? I'm imagining what it must be like for him instead of forcing my habits on him. Why don't you try that and then consider his request from his perspective.

The point of the armoury system is that you should level both mages to max?

Brucey, it seems that all of your responses have been aimed specifically at me and my situation. This thread is not entitled, "Allow THMs to switch to CNJ"; it is about allowing any player whose class role has been reassigned/eliminated to change. This also potentially includes nuking CNJ and enfeebling/soloist shield mages, as well as healing THM.

You say that it was obvious that CNJ would become WHM (despite CNJ having ancient magic), but that doesn't say anything as to whether THM was going to become RDM, SCH, or anything else. It has been claimed repeatedly that role reassignment is not a serious concern because every mage should have both classes to the cap, but do you honestly believe that Yoshida would agree with that sentiment? That any developer would say that players who main one class are expected to have the complimentary class maxed as well?

Will healers who start the game after 1.20 be expected to also level THM to 50, for abilities that have almost no impact on healing?
