It was obtained through guildmarks abilities NPC, u didn't get it from the quests, it was just the prereqs to be able to purchase the skills.

what he is saying is that, yes, they were bought through guild marks and the quest was a prereq, but since you will no longer be able to buy the ability they didn't know if you would lose them or not if they are obtained after the r36 quest like it is now or have to wait until they get to r50.

Ah i get it now, so i might not have 'Hand of the Gods' anymore if they are only available as ALC50 since my ALC is only lv37, got'cha

They said it was all gained through leveling except for Fingerprints of The Gods. That doesn't say that it will definitively be for Lv50, but since it is technically labeled as "Optimal Level 50" that is the assumption of when it's obtained when they take away Guild Mark purchases. As far as how you obtain the then purchasable abilities is known. You just simply level.

However, that doesn't mean that they won't change the optimal level around to make it obtainable sooner than expected. Only the developers know that little important part.
