How are bots dealt with? Are they dealt with?

Not including RMT botting in this, but gathering and FATE bots.

If a bot is reported, you're given no feedback whatsoever. I can see why that's the case, but when that same player is continuing to bot days/weeks later, it leads people to believe that nothing is done about them.

Let's say someone is reported for botting on day 1. On what day would action be taken action the user? What would that action be? What's the punishment for a second offence? If it takes some time to take action, on what day should someone report the bot again?

I really hope I'm mistaken, but it comes across as SE wanting the best of both worlds. State in the ToS that botting is not allowed so as to not have the game rife with them, but do as little as you can to enforce that rule, since doing so would have you losing subscribers. It may come off as harsh, but 'Northern Thanalan'. I know about it, you know about it, SE knows about it, yet bots still be there. Were close to a dozen before typing this up.

It depends on luck, the same bots have existed for years without consequence on my old server and current server. Botting FCs exist on the standings and nothing happens to them.
