doesn't exist in PVP because...:

1.) Goad has no real use since TP isn't an issue

2.) Smoke screen has no use in PVP, (maybe a PVP use where you can't target a player with Smoke screen active)

3.) Shadewalker has no use in PVP.

All these great utility abilities are in my opinion, completely useless in PVP.

I'm sure we've seen countless threads about ninja etc., but hello FFXIV PVP community and development team.

Must not be a primal player. Only melee more popular than NIN here is Monk. For some inexplicable reason DRG is the least seen melee in Feast on primal. I agree with your points though NIN sucks in feast. They ok in frontlines though.

I feel like ninjas are so useless in the Feast, unlike in Frontline, so I don't do Feast.

Won plenty of times with nin the utilities are great. We help u get ur kill. Paired with a war we can go all day

Knowing ninjas are the weakest melee dps, when I see a mnk on my team and a ninja on the other team, I feel confidence we are going to win the melee battles until I see my mnk just get rekked by the ninja. Ouch.

I don't know, ninja is fine. Yes, monk and dragoon do more damage, but in the end only bursts/kills matter for a win. And it's somewhat easy to kill with a ninja.

Right. This isnt pve and damage totals on the scoreboard don't mean jack if you didn't accomplish anything with it.

Ninja actually does have pretty high spike burst. suiton > enliven > duality > trick attack > aeolian edge crams a huge amount of damage into a very small timeframe. The OP does sort of have a point though. Ninja can basically burst once every 90 seconds, and in between that theres not a lot you can do. Monk, on the other hand, has an absolute ton of ogcd abilities with very short cooldowns.

But yeah, Ninja isnt as bad as people want to insist. Honeslty I think SMN is in a worse spot right now. Its really not even remotely comparable to mch or brd in 4v4.
