PC - Input Issues

Since the last patch, I've been having some issues with alt-tabbing in Windowed Fullscreen mode.

When there's a popup, email, or something that a program in the background does, alt-tabbing out to view it and then alt-tabbing back in renders both mouse and keyboard control unresponsive.

No type of input works, and the only fix I've found is to open the Task Manager, force the program closed, and start over.

I changed to Fullscreen from Windowed, and I have not yet seen this problem since the change.

I'm on Windows 10 x64, using the DX11 client of FFXIV.

I have the same issue (I think anyway - might be a different cause) - though I honestly didn't notice when it 'starts' (Though regularly alt-tabbing in and out isn't what causes it in my case).

Sometimes I can be on for hours with no issues, but just last night it happened again. Mouse and Keyboard input do nothing...

I play with controller though, and my controller actually remains working when that happens - so I can easily quit the game with it in order to restart the game where then the keyboard and mouse will work again.

Also, I'm on Windows 10 64-bit, but using DX9 (Borderless window Fullscreen-thing (Haven't tested thoroughly with regular full screen))
