The outfits themselves are nice, but like SilkaN said, a bit too anime for my taste. Too much schoolgirl uniform and modern feel for my taste.

I'd personally prefer things like this (over the top anime) be kept to a minimum in this game (if at all).

I'd actually like to see a very simple tunic outfit in the game. Something Lord of the Rings-esque or Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Or, and I may be totally weird on this one, something like a traditional Scottish highlander outfit.

Think the best way to get the armor you want is to enter the armor contest that FF14 Development team has recently started. If you win you get the armor in the game.
