Well, I ve tested it by myself and I had to admit, that I ve expected a higher DPS loss. But Monk is actually not my Main class, so I m not 100% sure about the numbers (about 50 DPS difference). If you want so see my tests, I made a comparision-video here: click. Please note, the rotation is not the same, because I used 2 different openers here.
You can even expand/change your macro a bit more (blood bath and featherfoot are waste), which makes you need only 1 buttons per combo (example):
BUT: I dont recommend to use that kind of macros. It sounds great to people who arent able to press 3 buttons for 1 combo, but you re more flexible and keep control over your skills, if you play without those macros. Using macros can make things go terribly wrong, especially when you have no idea which skill was used before.Code:/macroicon Demolish /ac Internal Release /ac Blood for Blood /ac Steel Peak /ac True Strike /ac Demolish /ac Bootshine
During my tests I messed up my rotation even more with those macros than without using it. This is acceptable for dummy parses, but it can get very dangerous on real fights. Nevertheless, I doesnt change my opinion about combo-macros at all. I seems to work for Monk for some reason, but you should still not using them.
