Monk Macros with Proper Rotation!

the only way to prove you macro sistem is good is compared with another vid of someone or you itself doing the rotation whitout it and with a dps parser, macros was prove by all top raiders and average players how maximice they job are pretty useless on active rotation with result of a loss of dps and make accidents on tanks, macros are only usefull in a very especific situations like other say for example put a ground aoe under boss feets like arrow flames or shalted heart and to made warning macros.

all ppl say that bcs is a fact from the 2.0 to 3.4 macross full rotations are not effective plus make you loss the capacity to adap you moves better to the fight.

Why would you make a guide and then be lazy in your own guide.. why wouldn't you spam the buttons as fast as you can? Your video is to show us how they work right? If you don't spam the buttons how would we know they are working properly... I don't think I need to show you a video of my rotation.. just look up my name in fflogs.. if you can top my parse on Faust z I'll try your macros..

I beg you to do so, if you find that the buffs are making the macro drop in dps, as Kitfox has recommended.....remove the buffs from the macro and only use the core rotation for it! I promise you that my macro works, its up to the individual player to form it around their play style and modify it to what they are use to playing. But as I stated, the core of it works with or without the buffs. And to answer your question about why be lazy, my video was to show how to properly use it and not on how I or other individual players speed or reflexes on spamming a button. Every player is different in there muscle memory, showing mine would not have done anything to show or demonstrate the validity of my information. The macros work, how fast they work is based purely on yours or anyone elses speed.

Vageta, as I have already stated to you, if you want to make a claim to counter my information that I have put out.....you are more than welcome to other than just words and with a actual video of your facts. As for your comment of not being nice, that is on your own volition! I have not personally attacked you or anyone on here and threatening to do so is incredibly rude. You will do what you will do, but as I stated.....the burden of proof on your claims that my information is false can easily be debunked if you create or link a credible source on that information. You can also just test for yourself, Research for yourself, or just listen to the people that are trying to give you fair advice without completely writing you off but instead you write them off instantly cause they need to make a video for something that has been shown to death already. There is a reason the majority of average to top tier players are all giving you the same advice. But just keep testing on your own and you'll eventually come to the same conclusion like many before you

From watching the video it looks like it is causing a minimum of an 1/8th second delay per GCD due to no action queuing.

That is roughly a flat 6% DPS loss given MNKS lower GCD with GL, not accounting for anything else.

Not worth it IMO.

You should be able to notice the difference between him queueing his abilities (= not using macros, so each ability happens immediately after the previous one has ended). Anyone can post a video of themselves doing a rotation, but without seeing parse numbers (or at least a SSS dummy or something), it's hard to estimate its effectiveness (and there's no point in making claims about that one way or another, since you have no proof and you really don't even know it yourself). It's been known for years now that macros cause DPS loss for DDs. Perhaps you're not familiar with how they work in this game, but please believe all the people telling you just that in this thread (or just try it yourself on a SSS dummy or with a parser in game).
