No, it's not about that. It's just not good for business. If people can give their spared costume codes to their friends, SE will lose an opportunity to sell one more ticket/streaming.

Being consumer-friendly is better for business in the long run than selling one more code. In my case they missed out on selling three stream codes over the chance that I might give away one of them. Saving one sale at the cost of two more is a poor business decision, and the loss of goodwill from a loyal customer is an even worse one.

I agree with what others have said. There will always be people in the World who will abuse anything, but if I'm paying for 6 items I should be able to use 6 items. If I can't use all 6 then it should be at my discretion, as the purchaser, to pay forward the 2 I don't need. I LOVED the way the Amazon event was handled. I passed on the male only items and for once my husband got the benefit of some of the things we're BOTH paying for. I didn't think for one second the codes for the stream would be any different, until I got the moogle-mail.

After the experience with Cleeng on the NA fanfest there is NO WAY I would throw $30 away on a second stream just so he could get the outfit (assuming we could even afford it) I'm being given and can't use.

PLEASE do this for us SE! Let us pay-it-forward on the extra outfits we can't use!

Of course it will happen, just like it did with the maid outfit but we also might have people giving them away for free, like it also happened with the maid code, not everyone are ****

Few bad apples spoil the bunch but more likely lot of bad apples cause there would be more people looking to profit off it then do give it away to someone for free. It also most likely a way for SE to get people to buy it instead of getting it from a friend although I think many more people would of bought into the stream at $20 like the 2014 fan fest.

I'd be more likely to buy the stream if I could use all 6 items for them, add to the fact that through Cleeng you had to stay glued to your computer for 2 days or you are rendered unable to watch it and the whole charade seems increasingly pointless and like throwing money down the drain, lol.
